Joanne C. Huang, Esq.
Joanne, the founder of Estate Law CA, has been practicing law for over twenty years. She began her career as a defense litigation attorney before shifting her focus exclusively to estate planning, trust administration, probate, and related matters. Her expertise in these areas was shaped by years of working alongside her esteemed father, David M. Huang—the first Taiwanese attorney in Southern California—who is now retired.
Joanne is known for her personable approach and dedication to providing clients with a collaborative and reassuring legal experience. She is committed to delivering high-quality legal work and personalized attention, and provides comprehensive legal solutions that offer peace of mind. With her mediation experience, she offers a balanced approach to resolving disputes in trust administration matters.
Joanne has a B.A. in Economics and Asian American Studies from UCLA (1999) and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (2002), where she served as a staff member and then editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. She completed a legal externship with the Honorable Federal Bankruptcy Court Judge Ernest M. Robles and was admitted to the California State Bar in December 2002.
Outside of her legal practice, Joanne enjoys reading nonfiction and memoirs, playing the piano, attending theater performances and museum exhibits, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is also an active volunteer in her community and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
